Shannon Herlihy is a 3rd generation Realtor, having been born and raised through early childhood in Coronado. If her name sounds familiar but you don’t already know her, it’s probably because she comes from true real estate royalty. Her father, Mike Herlihy, is one of the esteemed deans of Coronado Real Estate who was the co-owner and a Broker of Lee Mather Company. If that lineage is not enough, Shannon’s grandfather is THE Lee Mather, who is easily considered one of the all-time Hall of Fame Coronado Realtor greats.
Shannon has lived the life of someone who was born to be a Realtor. As a child, she and all her siblings and cousins were required to work in the offices of Lee Mather. Her father and grandfather molded her into THE prototypical agent, always ready to adjust with the changing market.
She has extensive experience, not only in real estate sales having co-listed tens of millions in listings, but also cut her teeth in the grind of Property and HOA Management. Shannon also specializes in Coronado, where she resides. She has an in-depth knowledge of everything from home construction types to in-depth knowledge of numerous condominium associations. She also has extensive knowledge of Imperial Beach, as well as most central San Diego metro communities. This wide array of knowledge has benefitted our real estate team and clients every day!
On the personal side, Shannon spent part of her youth in Park City, Utah, which resulted in her love and skill as a very adept snowboarder! She has also lived in the coastal seaside paradise of Santa Barbara, CA. Shannon spent more than 15 years as a dancer and at one time was traveling all around the country with a competitive dance company. From this experience, she learned a great deal of life lessons including discipline, commitment and working collaboratively with a Team. She loves taking her dog Otis on long walks or riding her bike all around town. As a longtime member of the Coronado Yacht Club, you will probably also see her out there on the high seas of Glorietta Bay!
